This is AIDA

1. AIDA Manufactures Entire Forming Systems Built Around Presses

100 Years in the Business, and No. 2 in Global Sales Turnover

AIDA is primarily a developer and manufacturer of press forming systems. Presses are essential machines used in forming processes, such as the manufacture of automobile bodies, but AIDA doesn't just manufacture presses. We first find out from our customers--who may be automotive manufacturers or consumer electronics manufacturers-what kinds of products they plan to produce. We then suggest the most suitable complete forming system required for the production process, including which materials to use, the process technologies, and the equipment requirements. Through this process we are able to actively guide customers towards optimal solutions and help them to resolve their problems and issues.
We are proud that we are the 2nd largest dedicated press manufacturer in the world in terms of sales turnover, and that our company is leading the world.

AIDA Manufactured Japan's First Industrial Robot

Though AIDA bills itself as a dedicated press manufacturer, AIDA is also the company that manufactured Japan's first industrial robot. Called the ‘Autohand,’ this robot was introduced in 1968 and literally functions as a replacement for a human hand.
